Presentation of the 3rd “Pain and Animal Health” prize

On May 23^rd 2022, a cheque for €18,000 was presented by Anne Moulin, President of the DÔMES PHARMA Group and Professor Alain Eschalier, President of the Institut Analgesia Foundation, to the winner of the 3rd edition of the “Pain and Animal Health” Prize.

This year, David Barrière, a research fellow at the CNRS – Centre national de la recherche scientifique within the INRA Laboratory of Physiology of Reproduction and Behaviour in Nouzilly (Indre-et-Loire), was awarded the prize. His project entitled “SheepImaPain” consists in developing new approaches for the evaluation and treatment of chronic arthritic pain in sheep.
