After more than 70 years of existence and three generations of entrepreneurs and employees who have succeeded one another with the determination to exist alongside the big players in the pharmaceutical industry, we still consider ourselves a young company. We still have the drive and independence. We are firmly rooted in our time, attentive to change, agile and always ready to adapt.
How can we rest on our laurels when a global health crisis is shaking up our certainties, and we are facing an unprecedented ecological and climatic emergency? If recent history reminds us that human health is intimately linked to that of animals – according to the WHO, 75% of emerging diseases in humans are of animal origin – at the same time we can become aware of the place that animals occupy in our lives and how much they contribute to our emotional and psychological balance.
We have the agility, we have the desire, we have been young for 70 years
The group was built on the conviction that taking care of the animals that share our daily lives means preserving the health of all. This is the meaning of our signature, “Linked By Nature”, naturally inspired by the “One Health” concept, and which reminds us that health can only be global.
This crisis has stimulated innovation in all its forms: therapeutic, but also technological, digital, organisational and collaborative. It has been a fantastic accelerator of transformation that has set us in motion and given us the will to take a step aside to change our way of doing things. These are our ‘Smartmoves’, our 2025 plan to grow by cultivating a positive footprint. It is about balancing past and present, future, health and environment, and how to match business performance with concrete responses to societal needs.
We want to be a major and independent player in animal health, proud of its international and multi-channel ambitions, and to strengthen our independence and industrial flexibility to better adapt to change.
Referring to the trilogy “People, Planet, Profit” we cultivate our positive impact by correlating our economic growth with the quality of life at work and the reduction of our environmental impact.
We have the agility, we have the desire, we are 70 years young.
